He started off as a little boy
With the wonderful moniker, Teddy Roy.
From there, the trend was steady.
Before you knew it, he was Teddy.
And now he is Ted.
Some day he’ll be Ed,
Or maybe just E.
I’ve noticed that he
Is in some sort of balancing game.
The bigger he gets, the smaller his name.
