Now We Are 30

(Dad I used to add verses to the "Now We Are Six" poem by A.A. Milne each year after my sixth birthday. So that's the inspiration for this poem.)

When we were 25, we were barely alive.
When we were 26, we knew a few tricks.
When we were 27, getting married was heaven.
When we were 28, being pregnant was great.
When we were 29, being mama was fine.
But now we are 30, we’re as clever as clever.
We’ll let Dwight change those diapers for now and forever.
