The Seasons on Tooley's Road

This was Daniel and Jean's stocking stuffer poem, celebrating the fact that they have never missed a Christmas in Oshawa yet:

The Seasons on Tooley's Road

When the robins take wing
There's a chance that it's Spring,
But you really can never be sure.
When the hatchlings appear,
Summer just may be near
But the experts will not all concur.

When you hear the geese call,
Though it's probably Fall,
Some will say there's a lingering doubt,
But when Santa sees you,
Jean, and all of your crew,
He just gets in his sleigh and sets out.
