"Twas the night before Xmas-
With Santa on the job
Mom had plenty of time
For some scrabble with Bob.
The tiles that were nestled
All snug on her rack
Were vowels- all u's
And she traded them back.
Then faster than lightning
New letters she drew
And muttered indignantly
Three iii's and a u.
I thought she had lost
Til I heard her exclaim
"BINGO" and beat him.
The last play of the game.
[Comments from my Grandma when she posted Dad's poem: On the back he had drawn out the diagram . It was added to another Bingo, which I presume was his. Here it is, the word iniquity added to the bottom t in extract. (Purely fictional , but highly probable!)]
