Happy Mother's Day
Dear Mama, Happy Mother's Day.
That's what I wish that I could say.
But I still don't know how to talk
Or run or crawl or roll or walk.
There's lots of things inside my head
But I just laugh and smile instead.
I want to say I love you so.
Each time I laugh, I hope you know.
And if some time you hear me cry,
Well, now you'll know the reason why--
I'm just upset that I can't say
'I love you, Mama', every day.
